Great ! The Tregear Pressies have used this at the Mt Druitt combined churches Christmas festivals, other version have also been inspired, one called the edible Easter story at the Mt Druitt Easter festival and the edible gospel story at the Tregear Spring festival. At each we had 80-100 kids during the course of the day do the story. A really great way to get the word of God to people in our local area.

I just used this at my church’s kids club. I was a bit nervous about doing it with 17 kids at once, but it went really well. It was great to find a new way to present truths the kids are pretty familiar with already.

this is a fantastic lesson. I did the star & Jesus steps with our scripture classes this year & they loved the visual. they all got one as they left the class.
I did the full lesson in church on sunday & the kids loved it. rapt attention. (the adults did too)

this is a fantastic lesson. I used the star & Jesus in our Scripture classes this year, total 160 kids. they loved it even though I just explained what they were all about. Everyone got one as they left the class.
I did the full lesson in church last sunday & the three kids loved it. (so did the adults)

I did the edible christmas story with my lively & lovely Year 1 scripture class and they loved it…and the food! Kept theri attention longer than anything else I’d done all year!

What a great idea! Food is always a winner. Some of our boys go straight from decoration to mouth though, so having extras is a good suggestion. We have a Christmas party every year for our baptismal families (who don’t always attend Sunday School),so I’ll try this out then.
