A perfect spring day was the setting for A Day in the Park 2010. Children loved being able to pet the baby farm animals, share a book in the Story Tent,
play with playdough and collage and plant a seed.
Families were able to relax and enjoy the day and experiences as everything, even the sausage sizzle was free! Lots of local playgroups were invited and an estimated 200+ people came.
This sounds like a great idea – I notice there was no prior notification of date, time or venue on this site? It might have been helpful. (I notice that no promised photos have been uploaded to this site.)
On a related matter, following a mailing re KCO Refresh 2011, I looked as suggested at this website and find that there is no hint of this event on the website. Have I got the correct website? I’m after more information.

Hi John – there has been a slight delay in KCO information due to organisational re-structuring at the Synod office. The information about KCO 2011 should be available and on the website later this week.
The Day in the Park event was advertised here before the event. We’ve had some trouble finding a good gallery plugin to show the photos properly but they should be up soon!
