Great ! The Tregear Pressies have used this at the Mt Druitt combined churches Christmas festivals, other version have also been inspired, one called the edible Easter story at the Mt Druitt Easter festival and the edible gospel story at the Tregear Spring festival. At each we had 80-100 kids during the course of the day do the story. A really great way to get the word of God to people in our local area.

I just used this at my church's kids club. I was a bit nervous about doing it with 17 kids at once, but it went really well. It was great to find a new way to present truths the kids are pretty familiar with already.

I first heard about Godly Play on National ABC Radio The Spirit of Things. I was so enlivened with the idea and needed to find out more.
I know this is an excellent way of engaging children, and adults. It is more than learning accounts of Gods' history, our history, its 'LIFE', meaning purpose relationship. I want to help GP become possible for the children in my local area. Fiona

Who made your beautiful Holy Families (wood and fabric)?
You're spot on wrt the challenges of implementing GP (they apply here in North America, too) but you're also absolutely right about its value and the importance taking kids' faith formation seriously.

Thank you to all involved. Wonderful time meeting and sharing ideas with other playgroup/playtime people - invaluable. Mike Frost was very encouraging and inspiring, really enjoyed Judyth - very helpful and informative, food was fabulous, I was made to feel very welcome by everyone - am looking very forward to the next one and will be encouraging others to come along too. Keep up the great work - and yay, go God - how neat to have the privelege of seeing Him use these people and their experiences to bless so many others.
