Intergenerational Worship Resources – Lent 2018

22 December 2017 5 Comments

Have you used the new Engage Together Intergenerational Worship resources in 2017? We’d love to hear how you’ve found it! (There’s a survey link below for the Advent resources).

In this next edition of Engage Together, covering the season of Lent, you will find a range of suggestions to encourage greater participation by people of all ages and to help foster intentional intergenerational connections. The material includes…

• links to other resources for Lent and Easter
• additional music resources
• an interactive Lent activity and take-home idea
• six worship service outlines (Sundays from Feb 18 to March 25 inclusive)

Taking as its foundation the suggested readings from the Revised Common Lectionary, Engage Together is especially suitable for particular denominations (such as the Anglican, Lutheran and Uniting Churches) and usable by any church. Broadly speaking, this resource addresses the Welcome, Call to Worship, Prayer of Confession, Music, Bible Reading and Prayers of the People elements often found in a typical worship service – plus it also includes a Take Home suggestion for each week.

As always, your feedback on these resources will be gratefully received. Please e-mail your comments to emmap@nswact.uca.org.au

If you’ve used the Advent Engage together, follow this link to give us some feedback via a quick survey!

Thankyou. I used some of the Advent resources and they worked well. Thanks for providing the Lenten resources so early as that is really helpful to me. Blessings, Cynthia

In the Lenten resources list, there are two resources that are for Christmas. I thought you might like to edit and repost. Thanks.

Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I
provide credit and sources back to your blog? My blog is in the
exact same niche as yours and my users would genuinely
benefit from some of the information you provide here.
Please let me know if this ok with you. Appreciate it!
